I demonstrate how to make or "brew" your own 1 gallon batch of kombucha. Ingredients: 2 bottles GT's original kombucha 2 bags black tea (no Earl Grey or herbal tea) A little under 1/3 C sugar 2 C spring water Supplies: 6 QT stainless steel pot 1/2 gallon glass jar Breathable cloth Rubber band Wooden spoon Bring water to a boil. Add sugar, stir and let dissolve for 5 minutes. Add black tea and let steep for 10 - 15 minutes. Cover pot and let tea cool to room temp. Add reserve kombucha and SCOBY Cover jar with cloth and fasten with rubber band. Let sit in dark quiet place until feremented and baby forms.
